Time to Remember

We have lots of things that we cannot allow time to erode. It is seventy years since, we were alone in the world fighting a ruthless aggressor and we were on the verge of total defeat when 350.000 men were rescued from the beaches at Dunkirk by a a fleet of in most cases pleasure boats. Some 900 were employed and they produced what can only be described as a miracle. Where else in the world would this have happened?. The answer no where else, it is a purely British thing.
